But which one do you recommend?

  2. I currently use the paid version of CyberGhost – but it all depends on what you want. So go through the individual reviews of each VPN which have been linked in the post and decide what you want to go for. 🙂

  3. Sean Kyle

What about purevpn? They have free versions on mobile though!

  4. Will Moore

I can recommend tracelessVPN free software, light, fast and very easy to use with a lot of security options.

  5. I have not idea, but since they do not have a free version for Windows PC, we have not covered it here.

  6. Thanks. We will take a look at it if it has a free version.

  7. Will Moore

Yup it’s free, and I think they are still offering free accounts for testings, that’s how I found them in a first place.

  8. Sean Kyle

That makes sense, but again I often hear about not using free ones at all. What would you say about it?

  9. Free plans are equally good imo. Its just that the connection may be a bit slow and they offer lesser features. Start with a free plan and then if you like any particular VPN, you may want to consider a paid plan.

  10. Dan

I agree, Cyberghost is a great and reliable Windows VPN! But yes, a few months ago their free version was given fewer choices for servers (but none of their IPs ever show up on Spamhaus et al lists due to their use of Cleverbridge platform inter alia).

  11. Juliet Bell

VPN is good but it is costly. Also, there is lot of traffic congestion while using VPN from places such as Airports, Hotels, etc. I would suggest continuing using remote support tools like logmein, teamviewer, R-HUB remote support servers, Bomgar etc.

  12. Warren Harper Jr.

I am stuck on UVerse do to my location. Can you recommend a VPN that works well with it?

  13. Michael

Am I able to use remote support tools to view Netflix from different areas of the world?

  14. Michael

And if so, are there any free ones? Thanks!

  15. gts250gamer101

Hey, you might wanna remove TunnelBear, it just got acquired by McAfee 🙁

  16. slap

Congestion lies on the ISP side or VPN side of things, not location specific

  17. UndergroundTommy

When choosing a VPN, read their policy carefully. Thats how I was tricked before (with Opera, now shut down) as it turned out they were selling data. I don’t trust free versions now but was on a trial with NordVPN and chose to go premium. Pros: many servers, easy to use, useful features. Cons: doesnt have servers in some countries. Overall experience positive, could recommend.

  18. Ryan

Have to agree, I pay few dollars a month for nordvpn and a sure my data is not sold. Where do you think free apps get their money from? Of course from selling data…

  19. Menno Maan

I disagree. When something is free then the user becomes a product. I have been looking around the reviews and am using NordVPN now. It is not free but cheap for a service like that (after one minor problem when contacted their customer support I got help in like 2 mins seriously). But yes, it all depends on what you need.

  20. Gdjohn52

the number 1 in this page CyberGhost does not have a free version . Its a lie

  21. CyberGhost does have a free version.

  22. Tyler Smith

CyberGhost doesnt have free version..? at least not one i can find…

  23. Stephen Langton Riley

They might say it is free, but having installed it, this message “Sorry, all free userslots are booked” appears, so a waste of my valuable time in the first place, that was after finding out you are stuck with whatever server (country) they want to assign, no torrent allowed either, so all in all it sounds like to free version is getting beyond being usable in practice. I can’t remember the last time I did use torrent but that isn’t the point, I might want to do so once or twice a year.

  24. ??????? ??????????

Some paid VPNS are also regular!! selling user data, including all Ontario VPNS, reading their Terms and service

  25. CyberGhost has discontinued their free version.

  26. Adam Gilchrist

Cyber Ghost is free, when did that happen? Last I saw they were available on the Christmas deal. there were Express and Ivacy vpn also in the list.

  27. Adam Gilchrist

Anand Khanse, can you please recommend me a VPN that is secured and works fast. Currently using Ivacy which is fast and good. Or can you review this vpn.

  28. It offered a free version – but CyberGhost has discontinued their free version. The post has been updated.
