If the date and time settings of your Windows PC are not correct, this can mess with the update installation and lead to the error. Therefore, make sure that you change the date and time on Windows 11 to the correct settings and fix the issue.
3] Run the DISM scan
If you still encounter the update error code 0x8024ce16, it could be due to corrupted system files. In this case, it’s suggested to run the DISM tool to repair the corrupted Windows update system files. However, for this, you would need to run a different DISM.exe command.
So, for this, open the elevated command prompt, run the below command, and hit Enter:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
