Microsoft Support is your one-stop shop for any queries that you have related to the Microsoft Products and Services. You can log on to support.microsoft.com and just get connected to an agent, get the contact details for your region or just browse through the FAQs section to get instant support if your issues and its fixes are already listed. But, some users have been reporting an error while registering their Xbox, Surface or any other Microsoft device on the Microsoft Support website. The error reads,

The first thing you need to do is wait for some time and then try again. If it does not still wort, these fixes may help you get rid of this error for Microsoft Support-

  1. Clear Cookies.
  2. Use InPrivate or Incognito Mode.
  3. Check your credentials.

1] Clear Cookies

You can try to clear out the cookies for the browsers that you are using. These posts will give you the intsructions for – Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

2] Use InPrivate or Incognito Mode

This is a fairly tricky business and can sometimes work and even not work. Because of the fact that browser data are not stored on a computer while using the InPrivate or Incognito mode of a web browser. This are different ways by which this can be done on different browsers.

If you are using Google Chrome, all you need to is hit the CTRL + Shift + N button combinations on your keyboard and you are good to go. It will open a new window in Incognito Mode where you can try to register your device again.

InPrivate window in Edge

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, all you need to is hit the CTRL + Shift + P button combinations on your keyboard and you are good to go. It will open a new window in InPrivate Browsing Mode where you can try to register your device again.

In case that you are using Microsoft Edge, all you need to is hit the CTRL + Shift + P button combinations on your keyboard and you are good to go. It will open a new window in InPrivate Mode where you can try to register your device again.

3] Check your credentials

The last resort is to check if the details that you are entering are correct and match to a valid set of data.

If the issue is still not fixed, you can just email or call Microsoft Support to get this sorted out.
