I must admit, until I discovered Dabel File Mover, I hadn’t come across a software earlier, that allowed to copy or move files from multiple source folders to different destination folders in one go. Of course, there were tons of batch file copy software available, but none of them possessed the aforementioned capability.
File Mover Freeware for Windows
Dabel File Mover does so! The freeware allows you to transfer files from one storage location to another storage location on your computer with ease. You can even transfer multiple directories at once!
Dabel File Mover does not require any kind of installation. So, once the download is complete simply double-click the set up to run the program. The UI of the program looks quite simple without any complicated menus – although the yellow does feel bright on the eyes. The main window shows bulk file mover that contains multiple source folder and corresponding destination folders for the files to be moved to.
Just above to the bulk file remover you see a standard file mover that allows selection and transfer of only 1 folder to the destination location.
For testing purposes, I used the Standard File Remover. I hit the ‘Browse’ button to browse for the folder I was looking for. When found, I clicked ‘OK’.
Next, I chose the destination folder and hit the ‘File Mover’ button right after.
When the folder was moved to the desired location I got a confirmation message on my computer screen as shown in the screen-shot below.
You can do the same trying Bulk File mover however, the action will be different i.e. you will be able to move folders to the respected locations in bulk. The box fields of the bulk file mover have dark black background so you might find it difficult to read paths to selected directories.
In all, Dabel File Mover works just fine, does what it claims! I didn’t have any problems while using it, right from the download point to moving of the files to the destination folders. If you would like to give Dabel File Mover a try.

File Fisher is another interesting freeware that allows you to copy or move particular file types from a mixed bunch. You might want to have a look at it.
