EditPadLite: A free Notepad replacement utility for Windows 10/8/7

The author Hemant Saxena is a post-graduate in bio-technology and has an immense interest in following Windows, Office and other technology developments. Quiet by nature, he is an avid Lacrosse player. Creating a System Restore Point first before installing a new software, and being careful about any third-party offers while installing freeware is recommended.

    Notepad++ is my preferred notepad replacement. And its freeware. Several additional plugin and other options to extend it. Comes in both install and portable versions. Works fine on XP, Vista and both Win7 32bit and 64bit. If you haven’t taken a look at it, its worth it.

    I was use this and nice app, but for light and small app for text editor, gedit its the best, 🙂

    I had used EditPad long ago and forgotten about it after so many Windows upgrades. Thanks for reminding me of it! Had been using Notepad++, which is fine, but it doesn’t have easy ways to change or emphasize the font, etc., so I much prefer this one!
