- Schedule a Task on Google Calendar
- Edit a task and its deadline
- Mark a task as complete
- Delete a Task on Google Calendar
- Find completed or pending tasks on Google Calendar
Now, we get into the details of each one in Google Calendar.
1] Schedule a Task on Google Calendar
You can schedule a Task on Google Calendar in two ways. You can either add a task directly to a specific date and time in the calendar. Go to a date on the Calendar you want to create a task on. It will display the hourly schedule for the selected date. Click on the hour. A pop-up appears asking you to add an Event or Task, or an Appointment schedule.
Type a name for your task in the text box, then select Task, adjust date and time if you want, and click on the date and time information to see the frequency options. Then, set the frequency if the task repeats, like daily, weekly, monthly, annually, or on weekdays. You can even set a custom frequency for the task to repeat. Add a deadline, choose a category where to add it, and click Save to save it.

The task will now be added to your Google Calendar.
Alternatively, you can click Create and select Task to create a Task.

To create a Task on the Google Calendar app on a smartphone, you can just tap on the + icon at the bottom right and select Task.
