In this post, we will show you how to use Copilot License and Copilot Connectivity Troubleshooters to fix Copilot problems in Windows 11
To use the Copilot Troubleshooters, update your Get Help app and then launch it. On the left side, you will see a list of all the Troubleshooters that it offers. Scroll down till you see:
- Copilot License
- Copilot Connectivity
Copilot License troubleshooter

To run the Copilot License troubleshooter, select Copilot License.
If you want to use Copilot capabilities in some Microsoft 365 desktop apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote, you will need to have either a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription with a Microsoft Copilot Pro subscription on the same Microsoft account, or a Microsoft 365 Premium subscription.
The Troubleshooter will offer you the following options:
- You have both a Microsoft 365 and Copilot subscription
- You have Microsoft 365 Premium
- You don’t have a Microsoft 365 subscription
- You don’t have a Copilot Pro subscription
Select the scenario that applies to you and then follow the wizard to complete the troubleshooting.

Copilot Connectivity troubleshooter

To run the Copilot Connectivity troubleshooter, select Copilot Connectivity.
If there may be an issue with your computer’s configuration, this troubleshooter will perform various checks to help you solve the problem.
You have to select which version of Copilot you want to troubleshoot:
The Troubleshooter will offer you the following options:
- Bing
- Web
- Web (Work)
- Office
- Outlook
- Teams
Select the one that is giving you problems and then follow the wizard to complete the troubleshooting.
