  1. The reason people experience slow loading is because Windows 8/8.1 are meant to take advantage of the app sitting in a low memory state instead of opening from scratch every time. It is an old habit, closing the app completely every time, that is hard to break. All about proper usage of the OS and Apps.

  2. Thanks for mentioning this, Richard. 🙂

No matter how many times I reset app settings or use sfc command, the Store app in Windows 8.1 crashes whenever I try to search for an app!

  4. There are a few links here at the beginning of this post https://www.thewindowsclub.com/reset-windows-store-cache. Pls check if any of them help you.

Just shows the splash, no whirling circle after pressing the “boot from CD or DVD” any key.
    What good?
    Everything is compatible.
    Do suggest pls.

Ah yes… we all know that the test of a truly good operating system is for everyone to change to accomodate it… jackass.
