To set Microsoft Edge as the default browser on macOS, follow these steps-
- Download Microsoft Edge from the official website.
- Go to Mac’s home screen.
- Click the Apple logo in the status bar.
- Select System Preferences option from the list.
- Click on the General option.
- Select Microsoft Edge from the Default web browser drop-down list.
At first, you need to download the browser to your computer and go through the installation process. There are two sources from where you can download the browser – App Store and the official website of Microsoft Edge. You can use any method to download the browser to your computer and set it up as per your requirement.
After that, go the home screen of your computer and click the Apple logo that is visible in the status bar. You should see this icon on the top-left corner of your screen. Then, click the System Preferences option from the list.
