This post will show you how to add Favorites in the Photos app in Windows 10. Microsoft has added a new option to mark any image or video as Favorite in the Photos app. Let’s check out the process here.
The Photos app is quite helpful in editing images, and you can open any image with the Photos app without restoring the old Windows Photo Viewer. Let’s assume that you have lots of pictures in the selected folder, and the Photos app shows all of them all the time. You might need to open some images frequently. Instead of navigating the paths, you can mark those images as Favorites so that you can open them quickly and in a much better way.
When you mark an image as Favorite, a new album gets created automatically in the Photos app. Also, only images from an added folder can be marked as Favorite in the Photos app. If you open an image from any other source, the button will be grayed out. You can move your image to the existing folder, or you can add a new folder location in the Photos app.
