Caret Browsing was one of the unique features of Internet Explorer, which allows users to browse to a webpage by using the keyboard to move the cursor. Caret Browsing supports standard text-editor functionality, such as using the Shift key to select text and copying a selection to the clipboard. This feature is particularly useful to users who do not use a mouse.
In Internet Explorer, this is yet another plus along with tons of new features. Pressing F7 will turn on Caret Browsing for that session. But there is no direct option to configure Caret Browsing support for IE for every session. In this article, I’ll show you the way to configure it using Registry and Group Policy Editor.
Enable or disable Caret Browsing Support using Registry Editor
1. Press the Windows Key + R simultaneously and put regedit in Run dialog box.
