Google has added a new release channel for its Chrome browser called as Chrome Canary. You can now install & run two Google Chrome builds side by side. This build is like baked out of the oven, but works. The updates are released daily and are available to test by end users. You can always send feedback, and Canary build does collect data which is sent back to Google Servers.
Download Chrome Canary build
To do so, first install one of Google Chrome stable/beta/dev releases as usual.
Having done this, next install Google Chrome Canary build (Windows operating system only for now) which will be installed to a different path, get updated separately, and run side by side with existing regular Chrome installation.
In the usual situation, the canary build will be the same as a dev build. Sometimes if necessary, we may push additional update on the Canary build, so its version is higher than developer build.
If you are doing development/test for Chromium project or interesting in getting involved, Google recommends you install Google Chrome Canary build and use it on a daily basis.
Download Page for Google Chrome Canary Builds.
You can easily uninstall it via the Control Panel.
