In one of the posts on the MSDN Blogs, the product manager working along with the Windows Update team discussed about what’s coming in the next version of Windows. The post appears to have now been removed by Microsoft.

    Don’t make Windows 8 (or whatever you call it) too different from Vista/Win7. Otherwise users will be frustrated trying to get day to day tasks done. The problem reared its head when people were going from WinXP to Vista, and is one reason many people (and businesses) still use XP.
