Boomerang For Gmail : Schedule Email Sending and Receiving

Have you ever wanted to compose a mail now and schedule it to send at a future date? Boomerang can do this for you. However, if you are an Outlook user, you can use the Microsoft’s built-in scheduler to delay the delivery of your email message. But if you are an avid Gmail with Chrome or Firefox user, you have to depend upon a third-party application like Boomerang. Boomerang can schedule emails you send and delay emails you’ve received.

It also helps you to follow-up a message within a specific time frame after sending a message. It has options like ‘only be reminded if nobody replies, or regardless’. This way you won’t let messages slip through the crack and will never forget to follow-up with people.

Cons of Boomerang

This is a subscription based service. The free version allows a user to schedule only ten emails a month. The other concern is that you have to grant a third-party access to your Gmail account for scheduling mails. Overall Boomerang for Gmail is a nice Firefox / Chrome plugin which gives you total control on when you send and receive email messages. Get Boomerang here,

I like Boomerang features but it became too expensive to use (and I used it a lot). Now I’m testing Deskun, it’s free.
