Also, I noticed you said to create a System Restore point before doing any changes to my system.
But I’ve already made these changes…..haven’t rebooted yet.
Should I go back and undo what I’ve done, then create the System Restore Point, then do the steps as you have suggested?

I appreciate that this page is here…and I’m hoping I did everything right because I’m about to reboot and find out.
(I’m fixing the problem of the “Group Policy Client Service failure to logon”.)

But before I reboot I wanted to point out that I noticed a few things when it came to Step 5:

1. In the screenshot provided above Step 5’s instructions it shows that Authentication Capabilities value data is set to:
0x00003020 (12320). But that value data is for Hexadecimal.

If it was set to Decimal it would show as 0x0003020 (74528).
At least that what it shows on my computer.

2. It was clarified in parentheses for Authentication Capabilities to use the Decimal data value.
But it wasn’t clarified for the Colnitialize Security Param.

So I’m praying to God right now that my assuming to use the Decimal data value for it was right.

I might wait a bit to see if anyone has any input on the Decimal/Hexidecimal value data before I reboot.

What do you do if you the only user on computer. Same message about client service access denied. Please help
