Windows 7 Touch Screen not working after resuming from sleep? Restart says Microsoft!

Does your Touch Screen not work correctly after you resume a Windows 7 based computer from sleep? Lets say you have a Windows 7-based computer that is connected to one or more touch screens – and you put the computer to sleep.

Now in such a scenario, do you find that one or more of the touch screens do not work correctly?

Well Microsoft has the ‘fix’!

No, not a Hotfix as yet, but Microsoft is aware that this is a problem and is working at it!

The workaround?

Well for the time being, till a fix is found, Microsoft suggests that your restart your computer. 

That should make the touch screen work just fine!
