What happens when you delete more than 1000 files in Windows 7?

    A strange problem! Good that Microsoft has put a solution via updates.

    By the way, do thousands of small files cleaned by some softwares count (which they normally send to Recycle bin)?

  2. Well bugs like these is why organizations don’t upgrade till SP1. Just imagine what this would cost an organization. Recovery tools can’t recover all 1000+ files reliably every single time.

  3. I dont agree with “tuxploer” , just imagine it the bug is not there you have delete the files and also clear the recyle bin. The user have to be carefull while deleting the file, if the data is very important you have to plan the backup for the same
