The tool is very simple to use. To transfer files, the devices must be connected to the same network. It could be a LAN connection or Wireless Wi-Fi connection.

Once you run the application, it will scan the network for available devices which also have Air Transfery installed and running. You can also connect to a device by entering the IP address of that device, or you can manually search for available devices by hitting the ‘Search Device’ from the left menu.

To send a file, just click the white arrow at the bottom and then browse the files and folders that you want to send. For receiving files, you just need to let the app run in

The received files are automatically saved in their respective libraries. You can also change the folders where the received files are saved. You can change folders individually for videos, music, images and other downloads.

Air Transfery is available for almost all Windows 10 devices including Windows 10 Mobile. Using this app, you can easily transfer data between your phone and PC. It supports fast sending in the background for mobile devices which was an unseen feature in previous applications and in Windows Phone 8.1. Sending in the background lets you use your while the data is being transferred in the background.

    Other than using you location which it really doesn’t need to do, how in the world do you think it would be able to transfer files without having access to those other locations? If it didn’t it wouldn’t be able to transfer files and the app would be totally useless.
    Go and put your aluminum foil hat back on, the paranoia should subside shortly after.
