I need some information about specific recover utilities for my CD and DVD. I find link on this page in IT staff’s public group on Facebook. Firstly I so needed quality content that would solve my problem issues. Many issues were touch to overall health of a CD and a DVD – required urgently restore the information that was stored on disks with scratches. I liked that for each program specified features of the content and the detailed description. Among the all options I could choose necessary.

I couldn’t get CD RECOVERY TOOLBOX to find my no-read DVD – it just kept hashing. So no-score on DVD.

CD worked but that OEM OFFICE 2003 was so degraded by age (not scratches) that it was impossible to recover. Had I let it run – it would have taken months at about 1Mb per HOUR!

I DID LEARN how to use it this way – you have to be selective in file choices and use the SKIP and CANCEL button a lot – just recover what you can. It does a pretty good job of not wasting your time if you do that. Of course that is more useful for a data (or music) CD than for something hectic like an MS Office install disk.
