Keep a cool heart 'maodeedee' , when I find the answer, I'll let you know in simple terms on how to correct it. Windows 10 has a lot of weird idiosyncrasies and independent quirks that don't even let you know what is taking place. It works like it is the boss and to hell with you. The last major update for Windows 10 and mine went completely bonkers and developed an attitude. Nothing worked like in the beginning. I had to remove "Movies & TV" as well as 'Groove Music' simply because Windows kept resetting the default because it did not like my very own.

This is fine thanks, but my Windows 10 desk top does not even show an Icon for this problem. And I do not even know where to start searching. It just tells me an Internet Shortcut is invalid and to go to the property sheet????. I don't even use iexplorer. Never have.

I have no Idea what you're talking about. how do I find c:usersusername in the first place? if I could find that, then maybe I could find favorites propertiessecurityadvancedchange permissions.
My computer just started doing this crap today. yesterday it worked fine what a POS the microsuck OS is.
