In reply to Vincent Thilbaut. Really a great feature. The problem is there are no reliable APIs by Microsoft to turn off the screen, specially when user is using his/her PC. I'm digging into the available options and will let you know if something like this is possible or not in near future.

Hi, me again.

To use computers, blind people use screen-readers, and refreshable braille displays. They have no need for a screen. However, on laptops, blind people can’t switch the screens off and keep them off while using their laptops normally.

What do you think about adding a new feature into your ScreenOff app? An option to keep the screen off even if the laptop’s being used normally so blind people can have longer lasting laptop batteries?
