With the start of the new month Samsung will usher a novel Windows 7 Tablet, tagged as Samsung Series 7 Slate PC. At the IFA Global Consumer Electronics Tradeshow, Samsung introduced their newfangled gadget. This tablet ships with the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System.

In looks, it is very slim and sleek but nowhere has any compromise been done. Instead, inside it crams the fastest and powerful components to give you a higher degree of productivity.

Keeping in mind the comfort of the users who love to freak-out with their Tablets, Samsung has designed this unique Series 7 Slate PC making it highly portable with a weight of less than two pounds and measuring only half an inch thick. This makes it easier for you to carry it anywhere.

Scott Ledterman, director of mobile PC marketing at Samsung Enterprise Business Division highlighted that “The Samsung Series 7 Slate PC was designed for on-the-go users who need a slim, lightweight computer but can’t afford to sacrifice true PC functionality”.

The Slate embeds an on-screen keyboard for typing quickly and easily, and using the multi-touch gestures users can smoothly navigate through the features of the Slate. It also integrates a microphone and a front camera which enables video calling with its 2 mega pixel unit, and at the back it flaunts a 3 mega pixel camera. A plethora of connectivity options are supported by the Slate, like a full size USB port, Wi-Fi, WiMAX and HSPA connections.

The latest technology feature that can be noticed in the new Samsung Series 7 Slate PC is FastStart technology which enables the slate to swing from hybrid sleep mode to full functionality in two or three seconds, allowing users to quickly jump into work or play anywhere.
