Although, a great proportion of mobile market is dominated by iOS and Android, some share is available for Windows and realizing this potential, has forced Samsung to unveil to the world its first of a new batch of windows Phone devices.

The Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone 8 device has been built with the latest technology. It has a very similar form factor to the GSIII but runs the latest version of Windows Phone OS. Earlier Samsung was criticized for shipping its high-end devices with cheap plastic. This too has been changed with ATIV S. The brand has dumped its traditional plastic case to add the final touch of fineness with a 8.7mm brushed aluminum chassis.

There’s a 4.8-inches HD Super AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 2 with decent hardware under the hood. This includes a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of onboard RAM and a 2300mAh battery. Besides, there is an 8MP autofocus rear camera for capturing high-quality pictures and shooting videos and 1.9MP front-facing camera, reports the Windows Blog.

Although ATIV S will be available with 2 storage capacities (16 GB and 32 GB) users will get the choice to expand the storage via a MicroSD slot. You can double the space of higher-end model.
