Retrieve files from Windows.old folder in Windows with Recover Personal Files Tool

    I used the Recover personal files troubleshooter tool and I get the next message:
    User account already recovered

    The personal files for the user account [AccountName] have already been recovered. Please select another user account.
    Is there any way to mark that user account in the Windows.old folder as not recovered so I can use the tool?

    when I go to C:Windows.oldUsers its only showing public. is it still possible to recover my personal files?
