Nokia announced the launch of its latest Lumia Device in the Windows Phone 8 lineup, Nokia Lumia 928. The latest high-end Smartphone from Nokia will exclusively launch on Verizon Wireless for now. Nokia Lumia 928 will reportedly debut in the U.S on May 16 for $99 on a two-year contract.
The most recent flagship Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia comes up with a 4.5-inch touch screen display, the same as its predecessor Lumia 920, but with a much lighter body.
The company is calling it as a follow-up to the Lumia 920 a “new expression of the world’s most innovative Smartphone.”

Lumia 928 has an aluminum body and is lighter than Nokia Lumia 920. It weighs 162.0 grams and measures 10.2 x 133.0 x 68.9 mm. Featuring an 4.5 inch AMOLED screen with IPS display technology, Lumia 928 Smartphone boasts a 334 pixel density and a 1289X768 pixel resolution.
It also features a scratch resistant corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection which extends to the edge of the phone, unlike Lumia 920 having the curved edges.

The new Lumia 928 comes with an integrated 2000mAh battery. The company claims that it can deliver up to 16.2 hours talk time on 3G and 11.8 hours on 2G. The 2000mAh Li-Po battery also claims a maximum standby time of 606.0 Hour on 2G and that of 541.0 Hour on 3G. Nokia also claims a music playback time of 80.0 hours. The latest flagship Smartphone from Nokia supports wireless charging.
Processor and Memory of Nokia Lumia 928
Lumia 928 runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and boasts 1GB RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity along with the 7GB Free SkyDrive storage space. There is no memory card slot in the Smartphone.
Camera of Lumia 928
The Smartphone sports a 8.7 MP camera with auto focus, LED for Video, Xenon Flash, and Optical image stabilization. It also has a front facing secondary camera of 1.2 MP with HD 720p video capabilities. The Xenon Flash in the device is brighter and whiter than LED flash; however it still uses LED for video recording.
Xenon Flash in the Smartphone reduces the motion blur in the pictures and the company claims that provides the clearer picture than any other Smartphone.

The latest Windows 8 phone device will hit the market shelves with white and black versions for now. It will be available in the market by May 16, 2013 for $99 with a two-year contract agreement.
If we compare the newest Nokia Lumia 928 with its predecessor Nokia Lumia 920, there is not much to talk about. Although, Nokia Lumia 928 looks better than Lumia 920 with its flat front facade and sharply curved edges.
