Finally, the widely speculated Nokia Lumia 900 is now official. At the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2012 , Nokia CEO Mr. Stephen Elop unveiled the Nokia Lumia 900 amidst wide applause.
Nokia Lumia 900 features
Considered to be more superior in features and functionality when compared to the recently released Nokia Lumia 800, the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone is a device which had all the viewers gasp in sheer admiration.
With a 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack display scoring 800 x 480 pixels on the resolution scale, the screen size being bigger than the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710, this mobile handset can turn out to be a fierce iPhone 4S competitor with a 1MP front-facing camera (f2.4 lens and 30fps capture) to enable video-calling which lets in about as much light as the primary camera of smartphones. It is the first LTE-capable Windows Phone mobile device from Nokia.
Running on a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the Nokia Lumia 900 has 512MB of RAM storage and the best of specifications. Adorned by an 8MP Carl Zeiss rear camera with dual LED flash, this handset is a great improvement over its predecessor, the Nokia Lumia 800.
It also runs on a larger 1840 mAh battery, providing even longer battery backup with increased working time. The larger screen doesn’t eat up a lot of battery power. The scenario is a bit different here. Instead, users get a convincing seven hours of talk-time and up to 300hrs on standby. Impressive!
The Nokia Lumia 900 features 16GB of internal storage memory (14.5GB user memory + SkyDrive cloud storage). It weighs just 160 grams and occupies a volume of just 90cc. It stands at dimensions of 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5 mm.
The Nokia Lumia 900 supports A-GPS, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), USB 2.0 high-speed, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR etc. The polycarbonate unibody design previously used for the Nokia N9 and Nokia Lumia 800 has now been recreated for the Nokia Lumia 900 and it looks just amazing, giving a feeling of completeness.
