Microsoft Academic Search: Find information about academic research and researchers

Academic Search is a free engine developed by Microsoft Research Asia to help users quickly find information about academic researchers and their activities. It is also a test-bed for Microsoft’s object-level vertical search research.

With Academic Search, you can easily find top researchers, their papers, conferences, and journals. You can also find relationships between researchers in terms of co-authoring papers.

Explore 8,074,846 publications and 6,073,079 authors! Microsoft Academic Search also lets you find information about academic papers, authors, conferences, journals, and organizations from multiple sources.

It also has a Visual Explorer page. This page presents the co-author relationship among scholars and also contains other information such as paper count, basic information of each author, number of co-written papers between two authors, etc.
