Thank you so much for this post. I was going insane trying every solution I read about without luck. Resetting TCP/IP fix my problem! Really thanks a lot!

When you are in airport lounges and hotels, windows OS will connect to the network but fails to automatically open the browser to input the user ID and password. In these cases typing 1.1.1.1 in the browser search bar will force you to get to the log-in screen. I would recommend trying this method before resetting the network adapters.
