Lenovo ThinkPad Twist S230u: Impressions of a Windows 8 convertible

With the launch of Windows 8, Lenovo has been consistent in launching some impressive computing devices with a few not-seen-before features.   1. I tried connecting the HDMI and the DisplayPort to 2 separate monitors at the same time. Only the first monitor would display.

    7 hours battery life? What a joke. It can last only 2.5 hours.

    My Twist has i5/500gig hard drive. It can only run for about 2.5 hrs at full screen brightness and about 3.5 at about 60% brightness. It is also a fingerprint magnet…..
    However, it is still a great computer. Love it.

    Turning off all the intel apps using task manager will speed it up considerably as well.
