Didn't deny that. The only issue is that iCloud doesn't provide any file editing tools. With OneDrive, users get to use Word Online, Excel Online and PowerPoint Online. No such things in iCloud. Means one cannot create files directly on the iCloud. OneDrive has those features. Google Drive too has such features but they are a bit tedious owing to lack of editing/formatting features.

iCloud on the Mac and Windows has an option to create local folders on your computer. Those folders sync with iCloud. On Windows that is setup with a client and it also gives you access to your photos from iCloud as well. On a Mac you sign into iCloud in the system preferences and have the option to redirect you documents and desktop folders to icloud.

This basically the same as one drive.
