For Windows 10 users, the terminology is all off. You still open File Explorer but there is not ‘Tool’ option.

It goes:

File Explorer > View > Options > Change folder and search options > Folder Options then appears.

Perhaps this still works with Windows but not with Windows 10

I never really gave much thought to the fact that I was double clicking on folders and files to open them, but now that you’ve pointed it out, I think changing this setting will make things easier and save me a lot of time.
