Microsoft officially announced that the Office for Mac 2011 is Released To Manufacturers. This means that the product reached to its final stage and now is being sent to production after the product went through as many as 6 beta builds before reaching the finalization stage.
Office For Mac 2011 includes features such as document sharing with other Macs, full compatibility with Windows Based PC, Photo Editing in built in Word, PowerPoint, Excel Documents and other basic features of Microsoft Office.
They also released a short video clip featuring some of the features of office for Mac which weren’t able to make it to the final build .
