After that, use the search bar to find relevant content based on genre, top charts, or new releases. You can also use additional filtering options if required.
Once, you have found the relevant content, click on the play button to play the trailer or click the name to go to the movie’s page.
When directed to a movie page, you can read the description and get additional information related to the following,
- Reviews from other Google users
- Rotten Tomatoes score
- Production members, etc.
Now, you can rent or purchase it by clicking on the ‘Rent’ button or the ‘Buy’ button visible on the page.
When you confirm the action, instantly, a popup appears that prompts you to choose the quality for your title.
Next, select your payment method.
2] Watch rented or purchased film and television shows offline
If you are interested in watching your movie or a TV program offline, the only thing you need to have is the latest version of the ‘Google Play Movies and TV’ app.
Once you’ve grabbed it from the Web Store and launched it, simply navigate to the ‘My Movies’ tab at the top of the page to see the content you already own.
There, you should also see a small download icon on each card of the media in your collection, simply click the button, and the film or television show will be saved locally.
Once the content has been downloaded movies or TV shows will be marked with a red tick. Just click on the content you want, and it will start playing. Please note that downloading movies for offline viewing is only possible on Chromebooks, not other laptops or computers. You can also download movies to watch offline on your mobile phone or tablet.
