  19. I’m in the process of evaluating the different versions of Office 2010 for eventual installation on Windows XP and Windows 7 machines. A local free college for seniors will be deploying Office 2010 on their classroom computers this fall. Their decisions will be influenced, in part, by my recommendations.   23. I just upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2010. The learning curve is steep. Being disabled, I don’t have much in the way of money to buy a lot of to help me with Office. A copy would be a Godsend.

  37. I have recently made a switch to Office 2010 from Office 2003. There is a big difference between the two versions.

    There is a lot of info available on the net for 2003 and earlier versions but 2007/2010 still has time to catch up with.(for obvious reasons)

    Just yesterday I have to do a lot of R and D to find the “Allow Cell Drag and Drop” option in Excel 2010 and finally ended up writing a blog post on it. Check my blog link above.

    I hope this book will smoothen my learning curve.

    I train people with a vision impairment to use technology, primarily computer training.
    Additional resources are always advantageous for try navigating the Office Ribbon without your vision – a nightmare indeed. One requires skilling in the use, action and navigation of shortcuts for any task though and the ribbon is indeed, a task in itself.
