Host a “Team Firefox” launch party of your own or find one to attend near you.

So you can either find out a party location somewhere near you and attend it or you can decide and host your own party. Once you have decided to host your own party, sign up with Mozilla and they will send you some swag. You won’t want to miss out on swag packs, which will include:

  • Firefox Buttons
  • Firefox Stickers
  • Firefox Lanyards
  • Firefox Tattoos
  • Firefox Satchel
  • Firefox Posters

Here are a few fun ideas being floated by Mozilla:

  • Take picture with the “Team Firefox” placards. Each “team” or party can take a picture and upload to a Flickr pool
  • Have fun with your photos – group photos and spoofs of team photos (e.g. football, basketball, rugby), a cheer-leading pyramid or a regional twist.
  • Use your parties as an opportunity to grow your contributor teams locally by conducting signups.
  • Create your very own Kumi dolls.
  • Let’s get the word out! Tag any tweets, photos, and videos with #fx4party
  • Just have fun and celebrate friends with music and cake.
  • Host an installfest or educational session to show people the new Firefox.
  • Encourage people to Join Mozilla and become a supporter

Mozilla recommends that you have the party on 15th April, but you are free to organize it any time till 15th May 2011!

Thanks for the tip, Nitin Agarwal!
