Yes, 3D builder is a good and easy option but these third party software comes with a lot of features and custom options. It is up to one’s particular preferences.

I find 3d builder from Microsoft the easiest one. I download sto from thingiverse, add text and make changes with 3d builder and then export. Also I like paint 3d for search models.
