For the Home edition, you have to edit the Registry. It will disable checking of the downloaded file but may not get rid of the Unblock button.]]></description>

I have Windows 8.1 Home Edition x64. Does this work for this edition of Windows. I know it does if one has Premium or the Professional Edition. What I want to disable is when you have a file, and under properties , you have to unblock this file. I want to get rid of that once and for all. ]]></description>
