If your network/connector cable is damaged, then also it would happen.
If your network module damaged it may happen.

(All the the above are hard ware problems and can not be solved with simply software commands. You have to physically check the functionality of 3 things and ensure signal transmission through 8 strands of network cable. And if found fault with them, you have to replace/repair them.

If you want to use Google public DNS, then it’s not 2 times 8.8.8.8

Preferred DNS server 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server 8.8.8.8

But:

Preferred DNS server 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS server 8.8.4.4

after trying everything from most every source, changing my workgroup from what it was, then back fixed my network shares.
