Hi Anand,
I have rebooted in Safe Mode, problem is still there. This is why I'm thinking some software changed the registry or other settings making the issue semi-permanent. I'm hoping someone knows the magic registry key or keys to disable LEFT click mouse context menus.

Restart in Clean Boot State. If the problem disappears, then it is some installed software that is creating this issue. See: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-clean-boot-state-in-windows

I realize this is an older post but I am desperate for some help. I've posted in Windows help forums and cannot discover how to fix a strange mouse problem that has recently occurred.

The LEFT click of my mouse button shows a context menu. So does the RIGHT click. I cannot discover how to disable the LEFT click context menus. No it's not mouse right and left buttons switched. Not malware, my system is pretty clean. Appears in browsers, Windows, everywhere. Yes, started in safe mode and problem persists, yes started browsers in safe mode and problem persists.

What's interesting is that your fix for completely disabling any context menus from the mouse does not work, both LEFT and RIGHT menus continue to pop up, regardless of the new registry key NoViewContextMenu set to 0 or 1.

I'm hoping that someone has a registry key fix or other fix for disabling this truly maddening problem.
