is this a typo ” We tested it on an old system with Windows 10 i”

Put it up against Driver Booster 2.2. Driver Booster tells me my drivers are up to date, and DTL tells me to update the drivers that I already updated with Driver Booster. Don’t know if I trust this, I’ll stick with Driver Booster.

DO NOT INSTALL this! It is completely inaccurate Chinese software. You should be ashamed for promoting this!

  4. Myothernamesagoodone

All driver updaters are bad. Wouldn’t touch any one of them with a bargepole!

  5. ^^ Seems like both are contradicting each other 😐

  6. ^^ This is an awareness kind of post, not a promotion at all πŸ™‚

i cant really see any usefulness in trying this software out on windows 10 … when it not even past a beta release yet …. would have been better to test it on xp / vista / 7 or 8 …. but as it is from the other comments it looks like its about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

  8. Yes, its home page link has been removed.

As I have stated many other times here, even though it may be an “awareness” article, once you put the software and it’s name on the web, it becomes searchable and indexable by search engines, hence yes it is sort of a promotion I beg to differ, sad part is some sad sack will download it and actually believe what it is doing is good when it really isn’t. Best thing to do when you come across software like this is not to write about it at all and if you do it needs to be negative.

  10. ^^ We appreciate your feedback and will implement it for sure πŸ˜€

As with my experience, it is excellent to install and update windows drivers for computer idiot like me. Plus, it is totally free. You removed the homepage and I got it from google by searching its name DriveTheLife.

In general, the old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies when it comes to drivers. Updating drivers on an older system – one that is not displaying any errors relating to drivers – is highly likely to create a problem.

Chinese Software, so what? Do you know that the Driver Booster is also Chinese software? But why so many people over the world are using it? The quality speak louder than your framed word! We use excellent software, no matter who develops it!

I had this program installed and Malwarebytes blocked outgoing tcp from this program and said it was connecting to a malicious website.
I think I would rather believe Malwarebytes so this program was uninstalled.
I do not know why others who post/advocate/list this software have not found the same thing.
    Do not install.

Some guys said that the program didn’t work and it is malware. I don’t think so. It works well on my computer. Nothing wrong appear!!! Many driver problems in my computer were fixed by it!

I like this software because it solve some driver related issues for me. I am not an advanced computer user, so I need such a tool to keep my computer in a good condition.
