Disney Infinity 3.0 is one of the many toys-to-life video games out there, but you know what, it is the best of the bunch. The first two were terrible, but Disney made improvements to the third outing, or maybe it has a lot to do with the addition of Star Wars. Read the review of Disney Infinity 3.0 for Windows PC.
Disney Infinity 3.0 for PC
This is the version of the game for Windows PC, which is separate from the version available on Steam. This version is free with micro-transactions everywhere and the size is over 14GB, so bear that in mind.
Before we go any further, the Steam version is better than this one, and for more reasons than one.
Now, there is no other company out there with a larger and more diverse toy collection than Disney. This is one of the main reasons why this game series is still going because the first two weren’t that good. However, the Mickey Mouse factory bounced back in a big way.
With Disney Infinity 3.0, we tend to enjoy the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic playset more than anything else. It’s a varied campaign set that swings across several planets and battles against different enemy types. The missions are also interesting, and that is something we come to enjoy.
The game lasts around 6-hours, more if you aim to finish the challenges. Furthermore, the combat is a lot better as well, something that may have much to do with the developer, Ninja Theory.
Like Anakin, I was able to lay waste to droids and other enemies. The same can be said when using Yoda. Bouncing around the place and wiping out everything in sight feels so satisfying.
That’s just the toy box, so one can understand how much content is here for players to take advantage.
With Disney Infinity 3.0, players can also create their own game type. With the previous video games, the creation tools were not that good, but with this new game, the tools are actually useful. They make the game more fun, so for those jumping in for the first time, play around with the creation tools.
Overall, Disney Infinity 3.0 is a fun game, just bear in mind that you will be required to spend money to truly enjoy the game. But hey, it is worth the ride so go for it, just don’t overdo it.
