Disable Start Menu animation in Windows 11/10
If you want you can turn off this Start Screen animation in Windows 11/10 as follows:
- From the Search box, open Control Panel and click on the System applet.
- On the right side, you will see System protection. Click on it. In the System Properties box which opens, select the Advanced tab, and click on the Performance Settings button.
- Alternatively, from the Search box, search for “appearance and performance“.
- In the Performance Options box, uncheck Animate controls and elements inside Windows.
- Click Apply and Exit.
This will disable Start Screen animation in Windows 11/10.
Now visit the Start Menu from your desktop, and see how quickly and instantly the icons or Tiles get displayed!
