Ii bought a 17 inch version and for the first year of Win10 I had all sorts of problems from freezing cursors, startups that needed a full override shut down to work at all, Closing the lid to put it into sleep mode meant it started and read memory for as long as you let it. Most of that disappeared at the annual update, I'm told that Win10 drivers are better quality than Dell ones. My current problem is that a full restart will set the Function key lock to multimedia, but after a soft restart the function keys operate as function keys. There is nothing in the documentation to indicated how to set the function key lock and dell says "You MAY need to press Fn to get the function keys to operate as multimedia. What sort of software do they write.?
I like the physical machine but the level of support and software is abysmal -- I think this is my first and last Dell machine.
PS my wifi is ok but much weaker than my 8 year old HP machine.

I brought this computer 2 months ago. Its a i7, 8gb ram, 500 GB Samsung Evo SSD. About the speed it works superfast. 5 second s to windows login. But i am having constant problem with wirelless card. I brought it with dualband Intel Wireless card. On more than 5 meeters away from my router wireless signal just fluctuate. And worked so slow that i couldnt even surf. Dell support replaced the card with some better wifi. Its still not working. But other computers works perfectly on the same place. Same problem with the battery. I got only 2 hours of running time with it. If i am using Nvidia i got only an hour or less batter time. Well Dell support replaced that without a problem. Its still the same. From my point of view this laptop is a rubish. I cant use wirelless with it and batter life is bad. :/
