Then backspace until the cursor reaches the page before. The blank page will now be gone.

You could re-set all four or just one [top or bottom]. This normally works for me and when printed it does not look odd or “uneven” when printed.

This adjustment does not have to be by much as a blank page can ususally indicate that the text on the previous page is sitting at the end of the line and hard onto the bottom margin.
