And Desktop Media doesn't work for me on Windows 7. Why can't they just build this in?

The link to download page for Drive Shortcut (http://tweaknow.com/download/index.php) gets a blank page in Firefox. Tab title and URL bar show it constantly trying to do something (Waiting for TweakNow ...) over and over but nothing ever happens. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Turned off AdBlockPlus and same result.

Just tried Desktop Media v7.1 from their site. Works great on my Surface Pro w/ Windows 8.1. The one thing I really like about it is that you can exclude a drive. I prefer a clean desktop, and since I always have my 64GB card plugged into my Surface Pro, I don't want a shortcut always on my desktop.
It takes less than 5 seconds for a shortcut to appear when plugged in, and the same amount of time for the shortcut to disappear. I work for an outsource IT company, and some of the users we service aren't too tech savy. I can see this making their lives much more simple, and mine too!
Download is 353KB...installs without any prompts for crapware installs.
