CloseAll lets you close all open windows and applications in one click

We have seen how you can quickly minimize & maximize all open windows and applications in Windows 8 | 7. We have also seen how you can roll up and manage open windows. But what if you need to instantly close all open windows and applications in one click?

Close all open windows

CloseAll is a nifty freeware tool which helps you to close all running applications & windows instantly with one click. It does not use system resources, because it only flashes a ‘close’ signal to all open windows on the desktop and then ceases.

For convenience in using this tool, you can place a shortcut to the tool in the Start Menu, Start Screen, Quick Launch or elsewhere. You can always add a hotkey to this shortcut. It is really very handy if you are running 10-20 applications and want them all to quit instantly.

If you want to prevent certain applications from being to be closed by Close All, you can even add a simple exclusion list to the CloseAll.exe command line.

It works just as if you were pressing the close button for each application. Very simple to use!

Rather useful, if you find that you want to suddenly exit all the open windows and applications.

CloseAll free download

You can download CloseAll from its home page. It works on Windows 10, 8, 7 and Vista (32-bit and 64-bit).
