AT&T preparing to release Windows Phone 7 much sooner than expected

In an AT&T promotional store document, the Windows Phone 7 is marked on the stores July 24th Phone Plaque OS Tab Installation document though release could still be a couple of months away.

There is still no new word from Microsoft on the release date other than a fourth quarter holiday release (I’m still sticking with holiday means October 23, one year Windows 7 anniversary).

With all the bad publicity over the death of the Kin, any news directing people’s eyes toward Windows Phone 7 is good news.

Keep a keen eye, Microsoft has very well been known to spring a surprise launch on consumers, as was evident with the product launch of the Xbox 360 “Slim”.
