Windows Phone 7 icons now reveal their labels too!

The latest build of Windows Phone 7 adds a little text descriptions to the bottom bar icons, when the bar is expanded with a swipe. Earlier the icons did not have labels!

The icons inside the common “application bar” which will house common actions will now no longer be a game of trial-and-error.

This shows that how Microsoft is sensitive about developing and better interface and hence providing a better Windows Phone user experience.

So we are now going to get to see the detailed description of every icon from the series pack now. This update was actually expected and will now play a vital role for providing a better user experience. The icons reveal their label only when you expand the application bar which brings up the additional context options.

Thumbs up to Windows Phone 7 team!
