Microsoft seem to be making some good moves lately. This is one of them.

I really love the Windows 8 Consumer Preview and on my website I have a list of installed programs that work perfectly (so far) in Windows 8. Just click “Legacy Apps” under the I’M A PC sign. Yes, I have been impressed with Microsoft lately and even msn.com validates.

I tried Windows 8 last evening, and found it interesting, but this morning when I tried to log in it would NOT accept my password, and I knew exactly what it was. There is no other way to get into Windows 8, so I had to redownload Windows 7 again, which took most of the day.
Think I will skip Windows 8!!!!

Most of the Windows XP and Windows Vista software and even software for earlier versions of Windows 98 and 95 works on Windows 8. just like it does on windows 7.I have got Microsoft Entertainment Pack Windows 3.1 and 95 games running on Windows 8 and all of them work. Also Windows Live Messenger for Windows XP and all of WLE for windows XP work, and so does all of my Windows vista software,Windows mail.Vista sidebar and Windows Vista Movie maker 6. as well as XPs Movie Maker 2.1 which also works on Windows 8. So that is good news for any body that wants to upgrade to Windows 8 and take all of their Windows XP and Vista software with them. Andrea Borman.
