Windows 7 UXGuide, Security & Location Aware Printing Waltkthroughs.

Speed Up My PC

Microsoft has released 3 documents which may interest Windows 7 users. These are now available for download.

The first is a Security on Your Terms Walkthrough.

The step-by-step instructions in this walkthrough provide a brief tour of new security features in Windows® 7. The walkthrough for BitLocker To Go™ requires a portable drive, such as a USB flash drive.

The second is a Location Aware Printing Walkthrough

The step-by-step instructions in this walkthrough provide a brief tour of the new Location Aware Printing feature in Windows® 7 (available in Windows 7 Professional or higher). These instructions assume that your computer is connected to at least two networks. If you don’t have printer connections on both networks, you can select the built-in Microsoft XPS Document Writer in place of a physical printer to follow these instructions.

And finally the Windows User Experience Interaction Guidelines for Windows® 7 and Windows Vista®

The goals for these official Windows User Experience Interaction Guidelines (or “UX Guide” for short) are to:

- Establish a high quality and consistency baseline for all Windows-based applications.
- Answer your specific user experience questions.
- Make your job easier!

Bet many will find the UX Guide really interesting!
